terrific post!! thank you for such a personal story. it's interesting to read your perspective because i was a child who was taken to church every sunday since i was a few weeks old and it took me a long time to ask those questions that you were asking your friends as a child. also, i grew up in a community where EVERYBODY went to church and i was a junior in high school before i encountered any jewish people, any athiests, or anyone who wasn't christian.
